23 December 2006
The National Space Society of Phoenix will be involved in a mission classified as “Operation Red Coat” starting December 24, 2006. The purpose of this mission is to ensure that the general public is made aware of the time available until Santa pays them a visit, especially within the Phoenix region. It is highly advised that everyone get your telescopes prepared as well as any digital equipment in order to obtain visual data of Santa! Be aware that it is encouraged that all children (young and old alike) turn in for the night BEFORE Santa comes to their residence. That being said, ensure that your equipment is set on “automatic” to capture Santa’s arrival!
The National Space Society of Phoenix acquires their up-to-the-minute information on the location of Santa with the help of NORAD. Please brief yourself with the data available at the following URL: http://www.noradsanta.org/index.php
No matter where you are you can track Santa by visiting NORAD’s site at: http://www.noradsanta.org/en/tracking.php
You can send NORAD an e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Or, for those who have not written to Santa, you can send him a quick e-mail at: NorthPole@OfficialSantaMail.com
