The Soyuz-U / Progress M-11M operations were successfully completed yesterday at Baikonur’s launch pad 1 with integrated tests.

The Soyuz-U rocket with Progress M-11M will carry more than 2.5t of cargo to the International Space Station, including food, water, scientific hardware, propellant, and cargo for NASA and JAXA.

Launch is scheduled for 7:38 AM Phoenix time (14:38 UTC), and can be followed on Tsenki TV.

Following a highly successful four month mission, the Johannes Kepler, Europe’s Automated Transfer Vehicle-2 (ATV-2) spacecraft, undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday, for a destructive re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere on Tuesday.

Launch was on time, and the spacecraft is on its way to the International Space Station.
