LRO Camera Links

As a follow up to last Saturday’s meeting with Dr. Sam Lawrence, he sent us some links to info about the LROC project at ASU.

Here is the link to the main LROC webpage:

Their featured images, which are typically updated 3-5 times a week, can be found at this RSS-enabled blog:

They have a Featured Sites webpage which shows many of the historically important spots on the moon:

You can look at the raw dataset in a number of ways, but the way I recommend is the QuickMap interface, which you can get to here, which allows you to view NAC images directly through your web browser:

http://target.lroc.asu.edu/q3/
